IN YOUR SUITCASE

What is compulsory :

Cycling outfits - The joys of mid-range mountain biking, you'll need both short and long cycling outfits.

We recommend :

- Short shorts
- One pair of long shorts or a second pair of short shorts + leggings or one pair of short shorts + warm leggings to pull over them
- Two short-sleeved jerseys & a pair of cuffs
- Or two long-sleeved jerseys
- Or one of each for variety
- A thermal jacket
- A windbreaker & a waterproof jacket or a magic jacket that does both (I'm told in my ear that waterproofing is important, as slush is a problem...)
- Your usual warm equipment (choker - gloves - socks - overshoes - hat or earmuffs...).
- Gloves, very important gloves

The team's instructions are clear: take something to make the onion, nappies, nappies, nappies... and we'll see when you get there.

Bicycle equipment :

- Your bike, of course!

- REMEMBER TO HAVE IT SERVICED BEFORE YOU COME. It could save you a week's holiday
- Your bike shoes and pedals, adapted to gravel riding and therefore to the possibility of carrying and/or walking on the ground. If you thought you were coming with your road bike cleats, forget them!
- Helmet (no helmet, no bike, it's a menace!)
- Repair equipment (2 inner tubes AND some preventive if tubeless / Multitool / Tyre changer or even a tyre... you never know)
- Your usual supplies on the bike for 5 days, the professionals have said ‘Bring food, LOTS of it’. What happens on the trails stays on the trails.
- Your usual equipment (water bottles / anti-chafing cream / sunglasses or goggles / GPS meter...).
- For GPS counters, we'll send you a link a few days before the course with all the routes so you can download them.

A few tips from Team Orga :

For the bike, no slick tyres, we're in Lozère and we want a minimum of studs and a MINIMUM of size 38.
For cassettes, use a transmission suited to your riding style and to the Lozère region - be careful, it's uphill.

Other outfits :

- Sportswear for other activities (comfort, running, stretching, hiking, dodgeball, I hear, maybe swimming, anything is possible).
- Comfortable clothes for quiet times (herbal teas / meals / conferences). Pyjama party, the structure is all ours, pilous-pilous are welcome.
- Pyjamas (to share your room with your great future roommate)

Other accessories & goodies :

- A water bottle for communal living
- Your favourite mug for the herbal tea bar. Each to their own cup, just like at home
- A thick pair of socks or slippers to get around the building and feel at home, while keeping your toes warm.
- A shawl/blanket/light blanket and warm socks for relaxing and quiet times: we said pilou-pilou.
- A headlamp - it's always useful!
- Don't forget your toiletries kit (soap, toothbrush, etc.), as we don't have any individual products on site.

What we recommend :

- Hand washing - drying racks are available on site
- Spare change for coffee breaks, snacks, etc. during outings
- A swimming costume
- Sun cream (we said 1000m altitude)

- Bed linen and towels will be provided on arrival.

- PS : Have you forgotten something  Don't worry, we're just 2 steps from the town centre, so you can do all your shopping.
